i'm stuck in the outter sectum of Dargeshaad, i have
killed 2 of the 3 glowing orbs but i can not kill the last one, its the
one that looks like its water element, i killed the red one and white
<i guess its white> anyway, basicly i need to get form the Outer sanctum to the inner sanctum, how do i do that??? thanks for the help, i realy injoy this mod :P |

Well done. You've made it this far! Hope the key to the Hall of the Ancient and the Bridge didn't cause you too much "agony" lol! You're right in your assumption that to get to V's "Inner Sanctum" (and really prepare yourself for this!) you have to eliminate the 3 "spawners". The third one can be killed - you just need to keep at it and, using Soulblade, should be possible. Post here again if you're not successful, since this could mean a conflict with another mod, and I'll look into it for you. |

i was able to fight it back to the origanal spot next
to the wall, but i cant seem to dent the "spawner" heres whast mods i have

i beat the last spawner, i got mad and went after it
with my fist o fury, and it worked it was hard but i beat it, now i have
to fight the "abovegrounder" as the new "Overload" its way fun, i thought i beat the mod whent i kiled the "V" guy, but then i had to fight theat red dragon, BTW i love the music in the battles, i return the deal to the sipider goddess i thought i beat the mod agian, not yet, im about to go off to fight now :P |

:D Great news, Tatsu. Haven't yet finished testing the other mods, but by the sound of it this was not the problem (whew!) - yes, the last "spawner" is pretty powerful. But usually you can get away by hacking at it with Soulblade (or did you get rid of Soulblade?) Ah! That's the point of the mod, you no sooner think you've "won" the game after you finally defeat V, when along comes the drag (!), then the spider (!), then the................... Let us know when you've finished and how long it took you. :lol: |

Thanks, MP (trying this post again - the previous one
by me never appeared) I specifically didn't include "starting instructions" in the readme, since very often players rush in without looking at the readme. Instead, I'd included these instructions in the "esp summary", figuring that since this had to be first "checked" to be able to play, the "instructions" would be read there. (But I should have remembered the great WC's, somewhat modified, famous phrase that you can handle all of the people some of the time and some of the people all of the time, but you can never handle all of the people all of the time!) Sorry you had to waste time posting here before you could start, Tagnoz. But instead of changing anything, because Doom_Door is only hosted on the Lys, all enquiries should be ending up in this Forum, and MP has provided the information. (What I will do however, MP, is start a "getting started" thread so that if anyone does need this info in future, they shan't need to go into the "spoilers" thread to get it.) :wink: |

Happy to report that Doom_Door has now been tested
with all the mods in Tatsu's post above, except EBQ_artifact (couldn't
find this) but it seems as if Tatsu is managing it, nevertheless, with
EBQ_artifact. Better Bodies (as mentioned above) can cause some comical effects (depending on the state of your save-game). While Doom_Door does not conflict with Laura_Craft, you obviously won't be able to take her with you everywhere, since she's not "Drow". Finally, as mentioned in the readme, if your LeFemm Armor turns red and you don't like this fact (even though it becomes more valuable!) you can always go back to your original colour, afterwards! Any more info on mod-"interaction" is probably best handled in either the "getting started" thread or "discussion" thread (to avoid encountering spoilers unnecessarily). |

heh i dont take "laura" anywere, i just use her house :P I have Finnaly beat it, it took forevery it seems to beat the battle at the end and alot of saving here and there :P i lost to of my people a the beach battle, when i was looing fo the reinforcments, over all i lost about 5 troopers and the captin but i still was stong enuf to sneak throw the fort only haveing to some of the people and beat the guy at the end got back i was the beloved overload and just rualer of the drow and the first male non drow rualer too :P way cool mod, i am thinking of DLing the mods you used like castelvania to see what there like :P |

Well done, glad you made it and even knowing that at
least one player "persevered" and enjoyed the adventure, has made it worth
the effort releasing the mod. Thanks for your feedback. I'm also pleased you're going to take a look at some of the "original" material since those authors deserve even more credit, really, because without their original work, Doom_Door would not have been made. Thanks for the download link. One final point. It would interest me to know (roughly) how many hours it took you to complete the game (and I hope you read the "book"). |

PackRat, I suspect I know whom you are (but, no
matter!) Regarding your first point, your troops should follow you as normal companions. "Talk" to any whom might be "lagging behind". But to take them "all the way through" necessitates considerable gaming skill. (Hint: walk backwards, keeping them in view, and slow down to let them "catch up" as necessary). I'm going to answer your second point (it doesn't relate to a "spoiler") in the other, general, thread. Good luck in finishing the game and please let's know how long it will have taken you to finish it. :wink: |

OK Oldie, I am stuck....I have all 7 Demon Spheres
and I have entered Transmogria's place at the top of the Tower of Darkness
but the only two dialogue options I get from her are "my trade" and
"Solstheim". I can pick up the chalice all right but without being
transformed into Drow that isn't much of the use is it???? |

i'm stuck even earlier then him, maybe he can help
me. I have 6 demon spheres and can't for the life of me find a key or an
entrance to the tower of light (i only know thats what it is cause i
played castlevania mod a year or so ago) i don't want to just console in another sphere, it must just be a massive oversite on my part, but everywhere i look.... no entrance... help please! thanks =-) |

First to Devon - have you tried the outbuildings?
(the plot deviates slightly from Castlevania). You should find a murdered
housekeeper with some interesting loot. :wink: . . . . . . . . . . . Gosh, Z, you're encountering problems (no doubt arising from the other mods you're running). Firstly, (and this is a spoiler). You don't actually get "turned into a Drow" - there was too much objection from players, originally, wishing to continue as "their own character". What happens when you have the Doom Chalice in your possession, is that other Drow "regard you as one of their own". So, by picking up the Chalice you will find your way behind Doom Door. However, to be able to continue the "adventure", you not only require the sword, ring and Moon Armour owned by Transmogria, but she hsa to give you a message and agree to you taking (not without some resistance) her possessions. So it's no good just "destroying" her. You definitely have a dialogue conflict brought about by one of the other mods your'e using/have used. Although Doom Door has now been tested with something around 40 (major) mods, I can't vouch for all. Would it be possible to post a list of your mods (I hope it's not 200! :wink: ). But please post on the Discussion, as opposed to Spoilers, thread (this will be useful info for other players). I'll take a look at your mods (phew, thank goodness it's the weekend) and, if it needs a "work around", I'll PM this to you. |

ok i'm a supremo now so i found the 7th sphere but
what you just said worried me. I killed the girl and got the moon armor
even though she was passive but she never mentioned any dialouge of
relevence. The only mods i'm running are weapons of tamriel ect... nothing
that should or probably even could conflict with this is everything going to be ok for me that i killed her in the fashion i did? |

Devon, Im following up the problem with Z and I hope
to get back Sunday, when I'll also have an answer for you. All I can say at this stage is proceed, as you should have been informed, and report back to the mysterious visitor in the chapel and, if his dialogue makes sense and you are told to head off for Doom Door, then do so. If talking to the visitor does not move everything forward, then you will have the same problem as Z. :oops: |
